RACE wants to enable the world to maximize the usefulness of the cannabis plant and respond to the future challenges of our society.
This is a family of excellence prizes intended to reward and motivate European students to carry out work on the cannabis plant as part of their European higher education course (according to the decree of Bologna).
Why?
We believe that the cannabis plant has the potential to improve our lives in multiple ways. RACE wants to encourage young researchers to take an interest in it. We must refine the collective knowledge of the plant, in order to exploit it as best as possible.

Introduction
Cannabis is a serious and legitimate therapeutic alternative. It is time to give it the framework and resources to realize its full potential.
Created in 2021, the CBX foundation aims to accelerate the creation and development of a Belgian and European skills center dedicated to the cannabis plant by exploiting the potential of the academic sector.
Born from the observation of a glaring lack of information available on the plant for health professionals, as well as general misinformation around it, Lionel and Jonathan, co-founders of CBX Medical decided to launch a foundation for to act at three levels:
Introduction
Founded in 2018 by Flora Mer, Jonathan Blondiau and Lionel Quartaert, the start-up develops and markets the best quality solutions from the cannabis plant.
CBX Medical's objective is to democratize and popularize the use of cannabinoids in the treatment of stress, sleep disorders, pain and skin problems. The company stands out for its innovative and transparent approach, its constant research as well as its involvement in education.
By working in partnership with universities, CBX Medical remains at the forefront of scientific advances and strives to continually improve its products to meet patient needs.
